I removed the black background of the fire image by going to the fire layer and changing normal to lighten on the top of the layer toolbar. All I did was I took the cloud trail image and I added a flame on top of it. After about a year of experience, I learned to Photoshop pretty comfortably. This Photoshop project took me about 10 minutes to complete. So I guess you can view this event as amazingly aesthetic or devastating and destroying, but either way, it got many people’s attention! The meteor was so powerful, that it was brighter than the sun and released the energy of 30 nukes! This injured an estimated 1000 people and also caused $30 million of property damage! It was devastating but for the people who were not injured or there homes weren’t destroyed, this phenomena is was magnificent! The meteor left a big trail of light which quickly disapated and left unique clouds in the sunset.
